Briefing: Instagram is getting rid of end-to-end encrypted DMs that ‘very few’ people used

End-to-end encryption (E2EE) will be removed from Instagram DMs.

The decision is based on the low number of users utilizing the feature.

Meta spokesperson confirmed the discontinuation to The Verge.
