Subaru has announced a recall affecting 70,000 Forester vehicles because of concerns that the moonroofs could detach while driving.
The recall was officially issued on June 5, 2026, and the company has stated that it is not aware of any crashes or injuries linked to this defect.
Despite the lack of reported incidents, Subaru received three technical reports regarding the issue in the U.S., prompting the recall.
