The family of Barun Biswas has formally requested the Chief Minister to launch a new investigation into his murder, which occurred on July 5, 2012.
This appeal comes just one day before the 14th anniversary of Biswas' death, when he was shot by assailants near the Gobardanga railway station in North 24 Parganas district.
The case remains unresolved, and the family hopes that renewed efforts may bring clarity and justice regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.
